  3. Women2Women – Count Me In
The Women’s Leadership Institute is a proud sponsor of Women2Women Conversation Tour.  This tour travels across the nation holding candid discussions with over 4,000 women from all backgrounds to ensure more women are COUNTEDIN!  This is a safe environment where women can talk frankly about the issues of the day and what Washington can do to better address them.  The conversation will be led by Sarah Chamberlain, the president of W2W, and featured panelists are Tameika Isaac Devine, Lou Kennedy, and Ann Warner.  Additional information is attached.  I hope to see you on March 7th from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at the Capital City Club. Purchase Women2Women tickets online.
  4. Tax Service
Did you know you could get your taxes filed for free? United Way is here to help!  MyFreeTaxes.com is a safe, easy and completely free way for individuals or families earning $66,000 or less to file their state and federal taxes. You can file online with your computer or mobile device. You can also find a location near you that offers free volunteer income tax assistance through United Way’s partnership with The Cooperative Ministry.  For the past 10 years, United Way has partnered with H&R Block to provide free tax filing services for federal and state taxes in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Since that time, the partnership has helped nearly a million people file their returns, bringing more than $1 billion in refunds back to local communities.  For more information, visit myfreetaxes.com.
