2012 Conference Scholarship Nomination
South Carolina Women in Higher Education (SCWHE) is offering scholarships for women graduate students and new professionals in the field of higher education (less than 3 years) to attend the annual conference 2012. The scholarship covers the cost of conference registration fees and meals. Travel and accommodation subsistence is the responsibility of the institution, another sponsor or the scholarship recipient.
Nominations for the scholarships should include the graduate student’s/professional’s name, institution, graduate degree program, expected date of graduation or position if already employed, the nominator’s name and institution and a brief description of how attendance at this conference will benefit the student/young professional in her professional development. The application form is included with this announcement. Limited scholarships will be awarded to qualified applicants. Deadline for nominations is Monday, February 13, 2012 (Note: the deadline to reserve a room at The Inn at the conference rate is February 3, 2012 so consider this when submitting your application.
